ReSurface Pros has refinished hundreds of fiberglass 1–piece tub / surrounds and saving each customer hundreds in the process. The Quality of 15 – 20 year old fiberglass is superior to that of fiberglass manufactured today. Not only in thickness but hardness as well. The labor in replacing these units is very costly since they have to be cut up and cut out from the drywall to remove because they wrap under and behind drywall. A new 1–piece unit cannot be installed because it is too large to maneuver thru an existing home. It was probably installed early on when the home or addition was being built. So an alternative is necessary, adding again hundreds of dollars.
